BREAKIN’ BAD: Crowds start small but expected to increase

Texas Week of Spring Break got off to an historically slow start as inclement weather kept many potential beachgoers away from South Padre Island.
As the weather began to warm on Wednesday, the crowds began to show up, in particular, at Clayton’s Beach Bar, which was nearly at capacity as it hosted dance DJ Steve Aoki. Clayton’s had previously hosted DJ Skribble and The Randy Rogers Band on successive nights but the crowds appeared to be half the size of Wednesday’s.
