Montelongo signs letter of intent to play for TLU

Port Isabel Tarpon senior linebacker Esteven Montelongo on Wednesday signed a letter of intent to play football for Texas Lutheran University. Esteven plans to study kinesiology and would like to pursue a career working with children on strength and weight training. When asked about signing the letter, Esteven said, “It’s been a dream of mine ever since I’ve been in diapers. This is football country here,” he said. “I’m just blessed to be able to take my skills and talents to the next level.”
