Martinez brings experience to paper

Port Isabel-South Padre PRESS Publisher Ray Quiroga has announced the hiring of General Manager Carlos Martinez, who returns to the charming, coastal community he once called home.

Martinez — who began his newspaper career with the PRESS — shared his excitement for this new opportunity, and said, “I enjoy running into people that I used to know. I get a kick out of it.”
