Hello I am so sorry for your loss. At times like these people wonder why these things happen. Or how can we get comfort. The Bible says that there will be no more death and that God will soon destroy death, because it’s an enemy that hurt many people. There are many scriptures that point out that God will soon destroy this enemy. Do you know why is called an enemy? Because it takes away our relatives and our friends 1 Corinthians 15: 26, ” And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing”. But here is a good promise that God has given. In Isaiah 25 : 8,” He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth. For Jehovah himself has spoken”. Also here is a good promise that he has for us, in Revelation 21:4,”And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away.” As you can see, there is hope for us to see our family, friends, our love ones. I hope that these words were of help to you and your family.
