Near 100 sea turtles released into Gulf

Last weekend, officials with Sea Turtle Inc. (STI) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) released 98 Kemp’s Ridley turtles back into the Gulf of Mexico, including four hawks bills turtles that had been treated at STI. The group of around 30 members was comprised of STI staff, interns, volunteers, two NOAA representatives and one from U.S. Fish and Wildlife.
