The Port Isabel City Commission on Tuesday adopted the property tax rate of $0.626327/$100.
Mayor Joe E. Vega noted that the tax rate has remained consistent since 2008, even though the costs of managing the City have continued to rise. He then thanked the city staff for helping to limit expenses and sticking to the budget.
