Garbage collection rates are set to increase next month, according to a public notice issued by the City of Port Isabel.
Effective Nov. 1, the charge will be $21.40 for residential accounts, plus $6 for additional carts. That’s up $0.65 from the current $20.75 rate.
Small commercial accounts will increase from $26.75 to $27.65, plus the $6 rate for additional carts.
