Halloween night, members of the Rio Grande Valley Mobile X-ray Lab will be providing two of their portable machines for parents and children to view the contents of their collected candy, free of charge.
Sponsored by Constable Pete Delgadillo, beginning at 5:30 p.m., all trick-or-treaters are welcome and encouraged to come by the Cameron County Constable building in Port Isabel and bring their candies to be scanned for any foreign materials such as pins, needles or tacks. Deputies will be on hand along with members of the RGV Mobile X-ray to answer any questions or concerns attendees might have.
