Christ’s Harbor Church in Laguna Vista opened a community garden this past Wednesday to the visible delight of dozens of local children in attendance. The children released hundreds of worms and ladybugs as well as listened to a children’s story on gardening. Church members and volunteers hope that this will allow locals to have the opportunity to learn how to grow their own produce and eventually act as a means to contribute to those who lack food.
