Two men broke into well-known South Padre Island business Cloud 9 early Sunday morning, breaking a front window and stealing several thousand dollars worth of merchandise.

In surveillance video posted to social media, the men can be seen rifling through the store’s shelving, tossing things on the ground. One man can be seen stuffing items inside the front of his pants.

The break-in occurred at approximately 5 a.m. Sunday. South Padre Island Police were notified at about 10 a.m. when an employee arrived to open the store for the day.
