Residents of Laguna Vista wishing to help make a difference in their community are invited to apply to serve on any of three advisory boards.
The Town has opening on the Board of Adjustments, the Library Board and the Board of Ethics.
Four positions are open on the Board of Adjustments.
As per Section 9.04 of the Home Rule Charter, the Board of Adjustments is responsible to hear and review applications for variances from zoning provisions pursuant to procedures and standards set forth in the zoning ordinance.
They will hear and decide appeals from orders, requirements, decisions, determinations and/or interpretations made by Town officials in the administration or the enforcement of the zoning ordinance.
