Police have arrested a Port Isabel man on two counts of indecency with a child.
Richard Drummond, 75, was arrested Thursday afternoon after a child between the ages of 7-10 years old made an outcry to a relative, who then reported it to police, Port Isabel Chief of Police Gualberto “Wally” Gonzalez said.
Drummond allegedly “touched (the child) improperly,” according to the outcry, Gonzalez said.
Drummond has lived for approximately seven years at the Port Isabel Marina RV Park and works as the park’s manager. The child was not a resident of the park, but would visit another child who is, Gonzalez said.
