The Tarpon Season ends but not the memories. The third game loss of the 4A Bi-District game closed the season for the Port Isabel Tarpon with a record of 18 wins, six losses and one tie. Winning memories were made by Tarpon ballplayers, coaches, and all supporters.
The Season Includes a Championship Win in the Port Isabel-Los Fresnos Invitational Tournament and a Class 4A District shared title.
Some great moments to remember are: the Tarpon pitchers coming through in the clutch; Tarpon runners stealing bases and rounding bases to score runs; Tarpon outfielders making grass-high diving catches, preventing crucial runs from being scored.
