Sea Turtle Inc., the world-renowned sea turtle hospital and rehabilitation center, will host a public sea turtle patient release at 2 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2023, at the South Padre Island Convention Center.
The release promises to be a remarkable experience for the community and visitors alike.
“Every sea turtle patient rehabilitated is a true testament to the dedication of the entire Sea Turtle Inc. team and the support of our community,” said Blake Henry, South Padre Island CVB Executive Director. “We invite everyone to come out and be a part of this awe-inspiring event as we send off these incredible creatures back to their home.”
After undergoing meticulous care and rehabilitation, these magnificent sea creatures are now strong and healthy, ready to reclaim the sea and thrive once more. The release will not only be a touching spectacle but also an educational opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of marine conservation. Sea Turtle Inc. will have experts on hand to share insights into their conservation efforts and the challenges sea turtles face in their natural habitats.
