The Art Lounge, celebrating its second year in business, is hosting its inaugural New Year’s Eve masquerade fundraiser on December 31st from 8 -10:30 p.m. The event aims to allow attendees to dress up while affording time for pre-celebration dinner plans and post-event festivities.

This special evening serves as a fundraiser for Fishing’s Future, a local nonprofit dedicated to fostering family connections with nature. The organization also includes an “I Can” component, supporting differently-abled individuals in experiencing activities like boating, fishing, and spending time on the water.

All proceeds from ticket sales, priced at $25 on Eventbrite, will directly benefit Fishing’s Future. The event will feature fine art, with 30% of sales contributing to the nonprofit, two live painting performances, a 360º photo stage with a rotating camera, live music by Jenuine Cello, and a live art auction where 100% of sales will be donated to Fishing’s Future. Masquerade masks will be available at the door for a small donation.

The Art Lounge welcomes attendees of all ages, encouraging a diverse audience beyond the traditional New Year’s Eve celebrations. Despite the ticketed entry, the event welcomes all, with additional opportunities for donations throughout the evening.
