Port Isabel Junior High School will be holding a FREE Tennis Camp from June 11-20 at the Tarpon Tennis Facility for grades 7 and 8. Participants will meet Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Racquet and tennis balls are provided but bring a refillable water bottle.

The Port Isabel Early College High School will be offering a FREE softball camp this upcoming July 10-11 at the PIECHS Softball field.
The two-day camp is for incoming girls in grades 2nd – 8th. The camp will focus on learning softball skills such as throwing, pitching, catching, fielding and teamwork. It will be a great opportunity for the participants to meet new friends and have fun.
Grades 2nd-5th, drop-off time 4:45-5 p.m., pickup time 6-6:15 p.m. Grades 6th-8th, drop-off time 5:30-6 p.m., pickup time 7-7:15 p.m. Spots are limited so register asap with coach Michelle Lopez. Email: mlopez@pi-isd.net or phone (956) 943-0044.
Coach Johnny Nieto just wrapped up his May soccer clinic where the kids learned the many skills utilized in soccer such as passing, shooting, ball control, teamwork and communication. Meanwhile, the off-season has begun in various sports.
Softball players are encouraged to meet at 9 a.m. to stretch and warm up prior to the session which lasts from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. All incoming 7th through 12th graders are welcomed. Volleyball session is from 8-9 a.m. Soccer and cross-country conditioning will be at 6:30 a.m. with an 8 a.m. skills session. Meet with coach Cris Ortiz for more information. The weightroom will be available daily until 1 p.m.
