The City of South Padre Island will host an open house for stakeholder input on the Convention Center Expansion Project and a review of possible designs.
This open house will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Convention Center
located at 7355 Padre Boulevard, South Padre Island, TX 78597. During the open house, members of the public will be allowed to address this topic.
This Open House will provide a comprehensive overview of the expansion plans, including renderings, proposed features, and the anticipated benefits to the community and local economy. City officials, staff and project representatives will be on hand to answer questions and gather feedback from attendees.

The expansion aims to modernize facilities, increase capacity, and bolster South Padre Island’s position as a
premier destination for conventions, conferences, and events.
