Running the race
Tarpons cross country runner Armando Fierro won fifth place at regionals on Saturday, Nov. 5 at The National Shooting Complex of the University of Texas San Antonio. Fierro is a senior at Port Isabel High School and has been running since he was in seventh grade. Winning this race will bring him closer to his goal of going on to run in college. Fierro will go on to run at the state meet for cross country on Saturday, Nov. 12, in Round Rock. He will take to the track at 1:40 p.m.
