Eight new applicants and six currently serving board members have notified Laguna Vista officials of their wishes to serve on advisory boards here.
Deadline to submit an application was Jan. 27. Board members whose terms are expiring were allowed to notify officials of their continued desire to serve, with the application process waived, according to recently adopted guidelines.
