Trash on South Padre Island beaches is a growing problem but various groups and government entities are doing what they can to mobilize the citizenry in an all-out war again littered beaches.
Winter Texans who love Texas beaches but hate seeing them trashed will join forces Friday, Feb. 10 at Edwin Atwood Park for the Adopt-A-Beach South Padre Island Winter Texan Cleanup. The park is located on the northern side of the island at Beach Access 5.
