It’s easy to see why creatures of all sorts tend to love Scarlet Colley.
There is a certain tenderness to her spirit and calmness in her voice that makes everything and everyone around her just a bit more at ease. Even at her hacienda-inspired Port Isabel home, built with her husband George, everything from the home’s design to the furniture inspires peace, tranquility and a certain “oneness with nature.”
The Colleys’ home, portions of which were built by their own hands, boasts a courtyard with a water fountain at its center that attracts wildlife and especially birds, all of which can be viewed from inside the home.
