Early voting kicks off

ElectionsEarly voting in the 2012 primary runoff elections begins Monday and will last through Friday.

Several races were left unsettled after the May election, including the race for the newly formed District 34 Congressional District. Other high-profile races include the U.S. Senate race and the District Two State Board of Education race.

Republicans must choose their candidates for railroad commissioners and two Supreme Court justices, which were settled on the Democratic side of the ticket.
