Girl’s Morning at the Movies set Saturday

Girl’s Morning at the Movies will be held Saturday, January 12, at Island Cinema, located at 4700 Padre Blvd. at South Padre Island.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to arrive at approximately 9:45 a.m.; movies begin at 10 a.m. Films featured include The Guilt Trip, rated PG13, which is a comedy starring Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen. As an inventor is about to embark on the trip of a lifetime, a quick stop at his mother’s house turns into a cross-country experience with her along for the ride.

Also showing will be Parental Guidance, rated PG13, which is also a comedy, this one starring Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei. Grandparents agree to baby-sit their three grandkids and problems arise when the kids’ 21st century behavior collides with old school methods.
