Council delays renovations for Convention Centre

The South Padre Island City Council Wednesday tabled plans to renovate the SPI Convention Centre and set a special called meeting for 2 p.m., next Thursday, to continue discussing options on how to move forward with the $15 million project.

“I still think we need a lot of information to go before we make a decision,” said Mayor Robert Pinkerton Jr. “I really don’t think we have enough information.”

    nice informative newspaper. we live northern Mn in summer 6 months and LIV winter 6 months.
