Humane Society, City resolve conflict over dead puppies

Port Isabel City officials and Laguna Madre Humane Society (LMHS) leaders met Monday to resolve a conflict after four puppies were euthanized at the Isabel Y. Garcia Animal Shelter.

LMHS President Beth Fedigan and Vice President Christiana Dijkman met with City officials including: City Manager Edward Meza, Mayor Joe Vega, Animal Shelter Advisory Board Committee President Glenda Stafford and Shelter Manager Oscar Del Abra.
