$300k TV ad spots proposed

The South Padre Island Convention and Visitors Transition Board (CVTB) Tuesday discussed how best to utilize $300,000 that has already been budgeted to promote the Island.
Talks centered around possible marketing strategies, content ideas and general activities like “live music” and “water park” to push what the Island has to offer. The idea is to separate SPI from other Island tourist destinations.
