Members with three response agencies simulated a joint agency response to an incident involving 12 people in various emergency situations on the beach.
The Coast Guard, City of South Padre Island Beach Rescue and Cameron County Beach Rescue participated in the rescue exercise. The drill tested the agencies’ abilities to communicate and coordinate effectively during the rescue and to provide triage and transportation for victims.
