Lady Tarpons get past Harlingen, Monte Alto

The Port Isabel High Lady Tarpons volleyball squad heads into this Friday’s home match against Lyford on a four-match winning streak after taking last Saturday’s tilt with Harlingen’s JV team and Tuesday’s match at Monte Alto.

“We had a pretty good match-up of teams,” head volleyball coach Julie Breedlove told the PRESS this week. “We were able to run some different things on our offense. We used different hitters and different combinations.”
