If the individual members of Port Isabel’s vaunted “Seawall Defense” didn’t upstage the Tarpon offense last Friday night they certainly gave notice early on that on this night they meant business.
Lyford quarterback Scott Arnold was sacked twice on the first three plays of the game, and the Tarpons broke out of a 7-7 first quarter tie with 33 unanswered points on their way to a more than convincing 54-14 win at Tarpon Stadium.
