In football, one of the most important aspects of the game is to hang on to the football. It’s equally imperative in baseball to catch the ball on a line shot or a pop-up. In the 4×100-meter sprint relay race the handoff of the aluminum baton from one runner to the next must be successful or the race is probably lost.
