The South Padre Island Chamber of Commerce held its Quarterly Public Affairs Luncheon on Tuesday at Isla Grand with Congressman Filemon Vela featured as the guest speaker.
After an Italian buffet lunch provided by the Isla Grand and a brief introduction by Courtney Hayden, Congressman Vela spoke for about 20 minutes on a variety of topics concerning the Island and the Rio Grande Valley.
