The Port Isabel Lady Tarpons basketball team put on a furious fourth period rally that came up just a little short Tuesday at Lyford. They trailed the Lady Bulldogs 35-14 at the end of the third quarter, outscored them 20-7 in the fourth, and lost 42-34.
“They came out and played three good quarters and one bad quarter,” head coach Blake Ramsey said Wednesday morning. “We played three bad quarters and one good quarter.”
