On approximately 1:48 A.M, an officer was dispatched to White Sands Motel located on 418 Hwy 100 in reference to an unwanted woman. Upon arrival the officer made contact with a man who stated that the woman was knocking on his door and did not want to leave. The officer proceeded to make contact with the woman that stated all she wanted was her phone, which was inside the residence. The man allowed the woman to recover her phone and advised the officer that he did not want the woman at his residence anymore. The woman was advised not to return on July 8, 2015 to the residence and was asked to leave the area. The officer gathered all the information for his report and resumed patrol.
My Angel Would Never . . .
On July 8, 2015 at approximately 10:46 P.M, an officer was dispatched to 106 Port RD. apartment 1201 in reference to a welfare concern. Upon arrival the officer made contact with a woman who stated that her seventeen-year-old daughter had not returned home from practicing at the baseball field at the little league baseball park located at 190 Port RD. The woman stated that her daughter had left around 7:30 P.M and became worried due to practice not enduring past a certain time. The woman stated that she called her daughter’s cell phone multiple times and contacted several of her friends that she socializes with and was unsuccessful with all options. The woman stated that her daughter usually goes home right after practice and has never had an issue with her not answering her phone or not going home right after practice. The woman stated that she has suspicions of her daughter leaving with her boyfriend. The officer advised the woman that if her daughter returned home or returned a phone call to give Port Isabel police a call to notify that she is safe. The officer gathered all the information for his report and resumed patrol.
