The Town of Laguna Vista’s annual tree lighting ceremony, kicking off the Christmas holiday season, is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m. at Roloff Park.
Performances by students from Port Isabel school campuses will be featured at the event.
Other Christmas related activities within the Town include a Roloff Park Tree Decorating Contest and a Christmas House Decorating Contest.
The deadline to decorate trees at Roloff Park is Friday, Nov. 27 at 5 p.m. Residents are invited to select a tree within the park to decorate, and register it at City Hall. Tree judging will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m. Winners will be announced Monday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.
