Coming up this Saturday, Feb. 20, the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center is hosting their third annual Spoonbill Mini-Golf Tournament fundraiser at Gravity Park from noon to 6 p.m.
They are inviting individuals and teams of three to come out for a day of family fun, entertainment, contests, giveaways, and of course, mini-golf. The cost is $25 per person and players are welcome to show up at the park on the day of the event with tee times kicking off at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
With last year’s great turnout, the Center was able to raise over $4,000 and has set their sights high, hoping to double that amount in 2016.
