Football off-season preps well underway

A year ago at this time it was not business as usual for the Port Isabel Tarpon football program.  The new head coach had just moved into his office in the athletic department at the high school, and varsity  players were just starting to learn a totally new and unfamiliar offensive and defensive system.  They would still be trying to get caught up with it all at the start of the season.

What a difference a year makes.  The Press sat down with second-year athletic director and head football coach, Jaime Infante, in his office this week to find out more about the whole process.

To begin with, preseason preparations actually begin the week after the last game of the season.
