Sea Turtle Inc wants community members to mark their calendars for Saturday, May 13. The turtle-saving non-profit is excited to be hosting its second annual Kemp’s Krawl 5k walk/run event, a family fun beach run to help save turtles, at the Holiday Inn Beach Resort on South Padre Island.
The run takes place that Saturday, at 8 a.m. Runners, walkers and everyone in between are invited to traverse the beach to raise money for Sea Turtle Inc.
This year, a family-friendly fun run will begin at 8:15 a.m., where kids and families can take pit stops along the route at conservation stations to play games and learn interesting facts about the beach and sea turtles.
All proceeds from this event will go to support the mission of conservation and rehabilitation of endangered sea turtles.
