Gun violence took the life of a young man in Laguna Heights this past week.
On Tuesday, July 25, 2023 Cameron County Sheriff’s Deputies located the lifeless body of Christopher James De Leon, while responding reports of a male subject that had been shot at the 200 Block of Adams Avenue in Laguna Heights.
According to a press release from Cameron County Sheriff Eric Garza, gunshot wounds on De Leon’s body were observed.
De Leon was 27-years-old.
The release goes on to state that investigators arrived and processed the scene, and a Homicide Investigation was launched, which remains ongoing.
