Occurring near SPI waters, the Texas International Fishing Tournament (TIFT) is set to occur from July 31 to Aug. 4. TIFT is Texas’ largest saltwater fishing tournament, and it welcomes all to its competition.
There are three divisions: Bay, Tarpon, and Offshore. Every child who participates in the event will receive a
trophy for their efforts.
Online registration for TIFT is now available. On-sight, in-person registration will be available at the SPI convention center on Thursday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Registration fees are $125 for Adults, $125 for boat operators/Captains, $60 for juniors (13-16), $40 for juniors (8-12), and social only viewers are $50. Children under the age of 7 fish free, thanks to Driscoll Health System.
