Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley will host the inaugural Wine for Wishes by the Bay celebration Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, on South Padre Island. The celebration will take place at “The Greens” at Viva.
Make-A-Wish says “This will be an exciting night of music, wine tasting, food and fun.”
Local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, liquor stores and wine shops are invited to participate in the event by showcasing what their establishment has to offer. Interested parties can contact Becky Gearhart, CEO of Make- A-Wish Rio Grande Valley, at rramirez@rgv.wish.org or (956) 338-2332
There are also sponsorship opportunities available.
The proceeds from the event will benefit Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley and their mission to create life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. They will be selling up to 1,000 tickets.
“We look forward to this being an annual event of celebrating wishes, our local restaurants, and great wine,” stated Make-A-Wish RGV.
Tickets are available for $40 each at https://one.bidpal.net/wineforwishesbythebay/welcome. The event will run from 6-9 p.m.
