A weekly midweek event at Lobo Del Mar Cafe is drawing families and visitors for live music, dancing, and a relaxed bayside atmosphere.

Known as Fam Jam Wednesday, the event takes place every Wednesday evening at the restaurant, offering live bands and cultural dance performances including Celtic music, bagpipes, Irish step dance, bluegrass, western swing, flamenco, belly dance, Polynesian dance, and Mexican music in a family friendly setting centered around food and community. The event is open to dine in customers of all ages.

Fam Jam has become a consistent midweek entertainment option on South Padre Island.  It continues as an ongoing weekly offering rather than a seasonal event.

Unlike larger island events that rotate locations, Fam Jam is hosted exclusively by Lobo Del Mar Café, a family owned and operated waterfront restaurant on the scenic Laguna Madre Bay , just off the end of Palm Street.

Those interested in attending can confirm weekly details, including performance schedules and start times, by visiting the restaurant’s website or contacting the venue directly. Fam Jam Wednesday is typically held in the early evening and continues through sunset.
