The Keep SPI Beautiful Committee and Health Code Enforcement Department are hosting a recycling awareness event on Saturday, Nov. 19.
It is expected to be “a fun and educational experience for the entire family,” promoters said.
From 9 a.m. – noon, residents are invited to the Island Baptist Church Parkinglot at 107 W. Mesquite to drop off recyclables, learn about local businesses that recycle, and exchange your plants at the SPI Gardens Fall Plant Swap.
