South Padre Parade
On Feb. 4-5, the 12th Annual SPI Kite Fest will take place on South Padre Island. The festival runs Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the flats just north of the Convention Centre.
Admission is free and you are invited to come out and enjoy this spectacular kiting event.
Kiters from literally all over the United States and Canada will descend on South Padre Island for the weekend to color the sky with their fascinating kite displays and outstanding choreographed routines.

Other teams scheduled to perform at this year’s festival are Team EOL from Austin, Texas as well as special performances by our own local Team SPI.
