Special to the PRESS
For those who weren’t able to attend the City of South Padre Island Spring Break Press Release last week, the SPI Chamber of Commerce sponsored a recapitulation on Thursday morning during their monthly coffee and conversation held at Kranzler Café on South Padre Island.
In special attendance to answer any/all questions or concerns were SPI City Manager Joni Clarke, SPI Chief of Police Randy Smith, SPI Fire Chief Burney Baskett, and SPI Special Events Manager Mary K. Hancock.
The topic of discussion was all events surrounding the much-anticipated Spring Break, and the benefits, as well as challenges this season will bring. The City of SPI has many procedures/processes returning this Spring Break, as well as new features to the Island’s emergency response system.
