The Laguna Madre Humane Society is holding its second “Meows, Mutts and Margaritas” fundraiser.
The mixer will feature hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants and margaritas. The locally famous band Pelican West will perform. Door prizes, raffle prizes and a live auction are planned.
The fundraiser will take place at Padre Sunset Club at 5908 Padre Blvd from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $20 per person or $30 per couple and can be bought at the door. Advance tickets are on sale at Whiskers on South Padre Island and Wags in Port Isabel.
