The Surfrider Foundation South Texas Chapter is hosting an outdoors viewing of John Milius’ Classic coming of age surf film, “Big Wednesday.”
The showing will be held on Sunday, July 15 at Casa Mariposa Event Center on 114 W. Corral on South Padre Island. The event will also feature an ongoing game of “washers”.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with “washers” games starting as soon as teams are ready. Doors will close at 11 p.m. The event is open to the public, with the movie starting at dark.
All ages are welcome to the event, in which a $5.00 donation is asked and will benefit the Surfrider Foundation South Texas Chapter.
