Port Isabel Mayor Joe Vega will be the guest speaker at a special Feb. 1 Port Isabel Chamber All Member Meeting.
Billed as “Breakfast with the Mayor,” the concept is now in its fifth year. The meeting will include a complimentary breakfast provided by Pirate’s Landing Restaurant and is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1.
Mayor Vega will deliver a “State of the City” address and outline his goals and plans for the city’s development. He will then accept questions from the audience.
“We are looking forward to hearing the mayor’s vision for Port Isabel,” said Chamber Board Chairman Cecelia Bliss. “This is by no means a political meeting, but rather an update on the status of our city. We hope all of our members will take advantage of this unique opportunity to visit with Mayor Vega.”
