Why do you like working at Senor Donkey?
The atmosphere is fun and laid back. My co-workers and managers are great .
What sports are you into?
Basketball, football, golf and mixed martial arts. I like to play golf because it’s a challenging sport.
What are your favorite dishes at Senor Donkey?
I like the Pollo Asada and the Pete’s Carinitas. It has pork chunks with a side of charro beans and pico de gallo, avocado and tortillas.
What do you think keeps people coming back to Senor Donkey?
The food and the service is great.
What is your favorite drink to make? My favorite is our Big Donkey Margarita. You get Don Julio Blanco and Cointreau and Gran Jala, and the two top-shelf orange liquors add more kick to our margaritas.
What do you like about bartending?
I like meeting different people from all over the world. Not everyone sits at the bar. I learn new things about different cultures as I talk to people. The pay is good and consistent.
What skills make a successful bartender?
Listening and being fast.
If you could make a drink for anyone, living or dead, celebrity or historical figure, who would it be and what would you make?
Tiger Woods, I would make him a frozen drink because I know he would want to relax and cool down after a round of golf.
