ORANGE GROVE—Orange Grove led from start to finish Saturday night and scored a convincing 33-7 victory over Port Isabel at Bulldog Stadium in a game that was postponed from Friday due to heavy rains.
In front of an enthusiastic home crowd, the Bulldogs wasted no time getting on the board as Ricky Martinez went 90 yards with the opening kickoff, and Orange Grove led 6-0 (the PAT kick was no good) with only 14 seconds gone off the clock.
The Bulldogs scored the first three times they touched the ball, including two touchdown passes thrown by quarterback Hondo Harris, and led 20-0 early in the second quarter.
