The 2014-15 Winter Tourist Guide to the Rio Grande Valley – a glossy magazine published annually by the Port Isabel-South Padre Press, the South Padre Parade Entertainment Magazine and the San Benito News – is now on newsstands throughout the Laguna Madre area and at popular RGV d
estinations.
Featured in this year’s edition are articles about local culture, dining and entertainment in Port Isabel and South Padre Island as well as throughout the greater Laguna Madre area; not to mention information about places of worship, museums, wildlife refuges, historical sites, golf courses, visitor centers and RV parks.
Also showcased in the guide are the communities of San Benito, Brownsville and more, where scenic locales combine with a unique tourist experience highlighted by music, history and tradition.
A master calendar of events published in the magazine gathers all the festivities occurring in the Valley – including upcoming holiday functions – as well as a standing calendar of local happenings and clubs.
Readers can find the magazine at area hot spots all over the Valley where the Parade is normally found, such as local restaurants, event centers, visitor centers and medical facilities; as well as at the Press and News offices – located at 101 E. Maxan St. in Port Isabel and 356 N. Sam Houston Blvd. in San Benito, respectively.
